Advised SUNDAY MORNING 16th FEBRUARY
Penhill has a very good chance in this Grade 2 hurdle which sees the return of dual grand national winner Tiger Roll. Gordon Elliott has been very open about his opinion that Tiger Roll will not be as forward for the race as he was when winning impressively last season. That points to the horse needing the run and opening the door for an alternative winner. Kilfenora will love the trip and ground but is stepping up from handicap company which is a big ask. Magic of Light might not like this very deep heavy ground which leaves Penhill as the most likely winner. Willie Mullins has raced him more often this season as he is getting on now at nine years of age. He has improved steadily in his runs from Fairyhouse to Leopardstown to Gowran Park and should be getting near peak fitness. Paul Townend rides with the trip and ground all fine for Penhill.
