We usually post selections at approximately 8pm GMT the night before racing. The odd time selection are published at 13:00 due to market liquidity issues such as on Irish mid week race meetings.

An email is sent to members as soon as new selections are published. The date and time of the next scheduled bets is included in full members only emails, as well as at the end of each new selections post published. Therefore, you are always aware of when the next bets are due online and do not have to log in and check for new updates constantly. My aim is to publish the vast majority of selections at 8pm, the night before racing. 

The selections are posted in your member’s area under the ’Latest Selections’ & "Ante-Post Selections" categories links. You need to log into your members’ area to get them. The are emailed out as well but of course email providers do not have a 100% delivery success rate.

Selections are emailed to all subscribing members as soon as new selections are published on the website as well. Do note that email providers have outages and delayed delivery of emails at times so they do not have 100% delivery succcess.

I'd recommend taking note of the date and time of upcoming selections are advised by email and at the end of every selections post. That way if the expected email does not arrive just login to your members area to access that days selections.

The number of selections varies from week to week, but the average to date is around 45 per Month. On a Normal racing week most bets are over the course of the Weekend when the better quality races take place. Of course there will be a higher quantity of bets advised during the major festivals like the Cheltenham Festival & Royal Ascot.

To some degree, this is up to you. However, if you want to follow my own staking, I will be backing one point win at 4/1 or shorter and half a point each way at bigger than 4/1. Nice and simple so very easy to follow and that is why my results are 99% to level staking which makes them all the more impressive.

There is a couple of things to consider here. Largest drawdown so far was 60.7 points over period during 2015. Our first losing year in the past 10 years! Still our betting bank survived easily and all losses and more profits accumulated subsequently. You will need a minimum betting bank of 80 points for the Cheltenham Festival – cash tied up until day of race as many selections backed non-runner no bet (NRNB) in more than one race

A bigger bank of 80 points is recommended during the lead up Month to the Cheltenham Festival. Leading into the Cheltenham Festival, we could advise 50 points or more! This is our busiest time of the year so make sure you have enough in your betting bank. After the Cheltenham Festival 60 points is the minimum betting bank required although it is highly recommended you work off an 80-100 point bank.

Yes I do in both good times and bad. You can expect an update roughly every 24 hours. Check out the Results Menu on the website. The Results Since Live page contains every bet placed since December 2012.

Win selections stakes are normally advised to 1 point (and very occasionally to 2 points. Each way selections stakes are normally advised to 0.5 point each way.

For example, If your stakes are £20 then a 0.5 Point Each Way selections would be a £10 Each Way Bet.

Well, the main reason is to keep a healthy betting bank. If I was to bet win only, we would have longer losing runs for sure. That can be a worry for some bettors who lose confidence in a service quickly if not producing winners.

My main aim is to find value selections that produce a profit over the long term. I only bet on selections if I expect them to win, which means I would be very confident of them being placed . For example I might put up a selection as an each way bet at 4/1 and if the horse wins great... but also if it places there is no harm done and our stakes are refunded.

We always tell you which bookies are offering the best available price and place concessions. Always try to use bookmakers offering a “Best Odds Guaranteed” as often as you can. We highly recommend spreading your bets around wherever possible as bookmakers do not like winning accounts as we have learned over the last few years! If you are unable to place bets with a traditional bookmaker then the Betting exchanges will work.
