Indemnify and secure a profit

The Eclipse stakes might have attracted only four runners but what an intriguing contest. Where will the pace come from and can the top 3yo miler Paddington beat his elders?

There is no need for this value backing service to get involved in the Eclipse. Instead we target the valuable mile handicap two races earlier on a good Sandown card.

Trainer Alice Haynes is getting some nice horses sent to her lately and Indemnify looks another. He ran very consistently last season with Roger Varian except for his final race over 1m1f at Hamilton.

Roger trained him to win over course and distance in May where he beat a decent horse in Helm Rock. Indemnify was sold at the Goffs London sale for 125k before Royal Ascot. His new owners didn’t run him at Royal Ascot and that decision can pay off in this valuable handicap. This is a progressive 4yo who looks fairly treated on a mark of 92 carrying 8-11.

Intellogent and Perotto were on the radar but didn't run well at all at Royal Ascot recently. They are not the most reliable so it is best to stick with a young inform and progressive runner like Indemnify.

Sandown 2:25

1 point each way Indemnify 7/1 William Hill else 13/2 Bet365, both paying 5 places.

Best of Luck, Nicky
