The John Gosden & Frankie Dettori team have the favour Mehdaayih and she will be tough to beat if handling the soft ground. However, it is worth backing With You each way trained by Freddy Head. She finished well in this race last year as a 3yo just lacking the turn of foot to get to the leaders. On soft ground it should suit her better and she is well drawn in stall 1. She is a proper Group 1 filly having won one and placed a few times at this level. Laurens when on song just beat her a short head, and twice half a length at Group 1 level. All in all With You is a very solid each way shout in this race.

The very soft ground will not be to the liking of some of these top class sprinters who all have Battash to beat if he continues his good form. Overall, this race comes at the end of a long season for many of these sprinters and I think it is worth taking a chance on a big priced local runner. Gold Vibe finished runner up to Mabs Cross here last season which was a cracking effort. Pascal Bary was very happy with his prep run when third to Glass Slippers three weeks ago and he handles soft ground well.
