Like An Open Book is turned out quickly having fell over the second last hurdle at Thurles last Sunday. He was going very well at the time and looks on a winning mark of 120 relative to his best form. All his best form is over the two mile trip and he has won twice on yielding ground. Claiming jockey Martin Burke has won on this horse trained presumably by his father John Burke in Tipperary. It’s a tricky race and while initially I was leaning towards the Gordon Elliott trained 4yo Saint D’oroux due to the 11lb age for weight allowance, he has been declared a non runner due to a temperature.
