Advised SunDAY MORNING 17th NOVEMBER

Racecourse: Cheltenham
Time: 13:15
Date: 17/11/2019
Horse: Kingswell Theatre
Current Odds: 9/2 Betvictor, William Hill & Bet365, use BOG bookies
Advised Stake & Bet Type: 1.0 Point Win
Selection Reasoning

I was tempted by Tea For Two off a low rating and weight but proper course form is very important over the cross country and Kingswell Theatre gets our vote. He beat the French raider Urgent De Gregaine in receipt of 6lbs back in 2017 and is in receipt of 10lbs today. Our selections handles soft going and ran well on his seasonal comeback placing fifth in the Durham National ridden by Richie McLernon. Tom Scudamore rides for his brother Michael who trains Kingswell Theatre today making it a real family occasion should the horse get the job done.

Racecourse: Cheltenham
Time: 15:00
Date: 17/11/2019
Horse: Quoi De Neuf
Current Odds: 8/1 Paddy Power & Betfair SB paying 5 places else Skybet 7/1 paying 6 places
Advised Stake & Bet Type: 0.5 Point Each Way
Selection Reasoning

Quoi De Neuf caught many a race watchers eye when travelling very well at Chepstow until losing out to Speed Company (8lbs better off) fit from a summer flat campaign. Evan Williams’ runner is having only his second handicap run here but cost 180k as a point to pointer and connections will hope he is up to winning some good pots. Evan trained Silver Streak who just lost out last year by a neck so he knows what is required to win a Greatwood hurdle. The soft ground is fine and he looks well handicapped rated 129 carrying 10-6.

Racecourse: Cork
Time: 15:10
Date: 17/11/2019
Horse: Blast Of Koeman
Current Odds: 6/1 Boylesports, Betvictor & Betway
Advised Stake & Bet Type: 0.5 Point Each Way
Selection Reasoning

Blast of Koeman races form a pound lower mark than when third in this race last season. Philip Enright has ridden this tricky customer twice to victory which is a plus as this horse needs to be delivered late. Cork based trainer Robert Tyner tries him in a first time tongue tie which should help on the soft ground. He will get his trip well have gone close to winning over 2m5f at Punchestown when 2nd beaten a neck by Patricks Park. Sumos Novios is a class horse but will find it hard to give lumps of weight to the rest over this minimum trip. Overall, I feel that Blast of Koeman can run a big race having enjoyed a spin over hurdles last month to blow the cobwebs away.
