Selection Reasoning:
John Gosden is banging in the winners at the top table and looks to have a nice progressive colt on his hands in Forest Of Dean. He travelled sweetly at Doncaster when winning snugly last time out and is ready for this step up in class. Proven over 10 furlongs having won twice and runner up this season, it could well have been three wins but for not getting the clearest of runs. Frankie Dettori steps in for the ride and this horse should take him into the race nicely with his high cruising speed.

Selection Reasoning:
Beat The Bank is a horse we know well having backed him more than once last season including when down the field in this race on his first run last season. He should have won the Queen Anne at Royal Ascot but for not getting a run in time under Oisin Murphy. He made amends landing the summer mile at Ascot and the Celebration mile at Goodwood, both Group 2 contests. His first run of the season at Sandown was impressive winning another Group 2 on fast ground. He’s gets a truly run mile very well and that is a big positive regarding his chances in the Lockhinge Stakes tomorrow. Laurens likes to get on with things up front as does Ostilio so they can tee up the race nicely for Beat The Bank who can slip over behind the leaders who should race up the middle of the course.

Selection Reasoning:
Arcanada has been running well on the All Weather and reverts to turf off a 13lbs lower mark. On top of that trainer Tom Dascombe has booked good 3lb claimer Jane Elliott leaving him set to carry just 8-5. This horse loves a mile trip on good ground and might get things his own way up front. Last season on turf his form was a bit in and out but he did finish fourth to Tabarrak in a listed race when rated 105 as well as fourth to Get Knotted over 7 furlongs at York on soft ground when rated 101. If the real Arcancada shows up then he must have an excellent chance of getting his head in front on turf again.
