Sandown Take Two!

The racing return has been all action with Kameko and Love winning the Newmarket guineas. Siskin was a very impressive winner last night when overcoming traffic to win the Irish 2000 guineas in style. Today, the UK action is a little quiet with the 5 Day Royal Ascot meeting starting on Tuesday. Nevertheless, I think we might have found a good bet at Sandown on a lively outsider!

Lyndon B ran last weekend at Newmarket when catching my eye. He broke slowly and was held up out the back before making up ground down the middle of the course to possible lead approaching the furlong marker. His run petered out from that point home, with Nicola Currie looking after him.

Lyndon B was highly regarded without truly delivering on his homework when trained by George Scott. Our selection switched to the Jamie Osborne yard last October when purchased outside the sales ring for the Melbourne 10 Racing syndicate. Lydon B did win over course and distance last season when ridden by James Doyle which is a positive. Dougie Costello is booked to ride and Lyndon B should be capable to landing a race like this if on a going day. Exec chef runs well without winning. The clear favourite Solid Stone could prove vulnerable to a closer if this race turns tactical which would be ideal for Lyndon B.
