This is the right time of year for Wakanda but last years Sky Bet Chase winner does tend to save his best for Doncaster and certainly hasn’t set the pulses racing so far this season.
Colin Tizzard could probably win with a circus horse right now and Robinsfirth was the ringmaster in a decent contest at Cheltenham last month. Ballyarthur and Captain Redbird have strong claims also, while Three Musketeers looks a lively outsider on best form.
But Red Infantry has more scope than any of these, comes here in top form and is well proven on both track and ground. He looks the business.
