Foward Plan looks laid out for this race having finished a nose second behind Annual Invictus last season. Trainer Anthony Honeyball has decided to book 10 claimer Chad Bament who rides well. Ten pounds is massive in these tight staying handicaps and leaves Foward Plan carrying 10-13 instead of 11-9! Chad rode Sam Brown in the Veteran’s chase final at Market Rasen last weekend and looked great value for his big claim. Foward Plan has finished fourth at Wincanton and a close third over course and distance this season. He’s a strong stayer and there is lots of pace up front which will suit.
