Unfortunately, Haydock has been lost this morning so we focus on the good handicap hurdle at Navan.

Lucky Max won well at Cork in a lesser race but remains dangerous but is priced too short in such a competitive race. Instead, we back a different county Wexford trained runner in the Liz Doyle trained Bois De Clamart.

This horse has taken his time to come to hand this season but showed up well at Limerick over the Christmas period. He came home well over 2m4f on heavy ground finishing a length behind National hope Longhouse Poet. The handicapper didn’t move and Bois De Clamart remains on his hurdling mark of 134 which is 5lbs below his chasing mark. This horse loves testing ground and should go well carrying 11-2.
